Bonding and sealing on board
From bedding a deck fitting to a structural bond, the right adhesive makes the difference between a repair that lasts and one that leaks.
Structural epoxy adhesives
- WEST SYSTEM Six10 – two-part structural epoxy in a self-mixing cartridge for a standard caulking gun.
- WEST SYSTEM G/flex 655 – toughened, slightly flexible epoxy for plastics, metals and damp wood.
Marine sealants
Bostik's MSR range covers bedding, bonding and deck caulking. Clean and prepare joints first with Bostik Cleaner E.
Quick fixes
Bostik Born2Bond Aquafast – an instant adhesive that bonds metals, plastics and rubber even in high humidity.
Good to know
Most sealant failures come from poor preparation. Clean, degrease and, where the datasheet says so, prime – then tool the joint for a neat finish. Not sure which product suits your job? Ask us.
