Privacy Policy
How MMR collects and uses your personal data.
Last updated: October 2026.
Who we are
This website is operated by MMR Marine Maintenance & Repairs ("MMR", "we"), a yacht maintenance and repair company in Malta. You can contact us at info@mmr.com.mt or +356 9910 2000.
What we collect and why
- Enquiries: when you use a contact or quote form we collect the details you give us – your name, email, phone number, the service or product you are asking about, details of your vessel and your message – so that we can reply, prepare a quotation and carry out the work.
- Newsletter: if you subscribe, we keep your email address to send you marine maintenance tips and news from MMR. Every email lets you unsubscribe, or you can ask us to remove you at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. It is stored on our website's server and forwarded to our email; our hosting and email providers process it on our behalf. We only share it with authorities where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and to manage any resulting job, and then deleted unless we must keep them for legal or accounting reasons. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Essential cookies are used for site administration only.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by contacting us using the details above. You can also complain to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC) in Malta.
