About PRO-SET
PRO-SET epoxy comes from Gougeon Brothers, Inc. – the Bay City, Michigan company behind WEST SYSTEM – which developed the precursor to PRO-SET in the mid-1980s for advanced composite builders. Much of the research in Gougeon’s test lab is driven by PRO-SET customers’ needs.
PRO-SET makes room-temperature and post-cured adhesives, laminating and infusion epoxies. In Europe, Africa and parts of Asia it is manufactured by Wessex Resins & Adhesives in the UK. America’s Cup teams including American Magic and Stars & Stripes have chosen PRO-SET as their official epoxy, and it was an official technical supplier to ORACLE TEAM USA.

Why we use PRO-SET
We use PRO-SET on our epoxy and fibreglass repairs. We stock it ourselves, so repairs can start without delays waiting on parts. PRO-SET is also widely used outside boating, including automotive work.
PRO-SET questions
What is the difference between PRO-SET and WEST SYSTEM?
Both are made by Gougeon Brothers. WEST SYSTEM is the all-round epoxy for boat building and repair; PRO-SET is formulated for advanced composite fabrication – laminating, infusion, adhesives and tooling.
